SALOME'S DANCE OF THE SEVEN VEILS

In ballet tradition, Salome is known for her mesmerising Dance of the Seven Veils for King Herod. Bakst’s diaphanous costume designs for the lead role, in blues and golds, were seductive, beguiling and sensational.

Inspired by Bakst’s watercolour sketches, the jewel-like, diamond-shaped embroidery of this patented design runs delicately around the perimeter of the pillowcases in this collection. Presented as a two-tone combination of 100% cotton Burnished Gold duvet cover with contrasting Watercolour Blue and Burnished Gold pillowcases, the mood is luxurious, relaxed and inviting.
